(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Hot Hollywood hunks have been bringing back the mustache trend over the last year or so, but one of them isn't so keen on his new facial hair.
According to PopSugar.com , Matt Damon made it clear that he has strong feelings about the particular mustache he has been growing for a new film role in the Coen Brothers' remake of "True Grit," saying it's really only useful "either for a Western or a porno movie."
And the actor was even more forthcoming with his true thoughts on sprouting whiskers for the new flick at the "Green Zone" premiere in New York City last week.
"I'll show it [the mustache] to them this week. If they like it, fine. If not, I'll try again. I actually hate the thing," the Oscar nominee told The New York Post .
HollywoodLife.com agrees with Damon, despite the fact he doesn't have the choice to go clean-shaven of late, his new look is not doing him justice.
His "Ocean’s Thirteen" co-stars, George Clooney and Brad Pitt have also been spotted going scruffy lately, reports PopSugar.com .
The former has been showing off a salt and pepper beard, while the dad-of-six has been growing an excessively long goatee.
And "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson debuted a bushy beard recently, which indicated he is preparing for his upcoming film "Bel Ami."
But not every sizzling star is growing the Clark Gable-inspired fuzz because they have to for a new film part.
Grammy-winning crooner Michael Buble was sporting a new mustache by choice, as evident when he hit the stage to perform at the 2010 Winter Olympics closing ceremony in his Vancouver hometown on Sunday night, reports The Vancouver Sun .
