Gwyneth Paltrow Seeks More Sleep

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Actress Gwyneth Paltrow seems to have everything in order when it comes to her life – especially her health – but there is one thing missing, sleep.

According to JustJared.com , the " GOOP: Nourish the inner aspect " newsletter writer is doing just about everything else right when it comes to her well-being.

But the health guru pointed out one very big problem in her lifestyle this week – her lack of shuteye.

The 37-year-old wrote: "Basically everyone I know is knackered, me included. But I didn't imagine that there could be health problems associated with not getting a good night's rest. I recently read a book called " Light's Out: Sleep, Sugar and Survival" by T.S. Wiley which talks about the negative cumulative effects of sleep deprivation."

Some of Paltrow's health concerns she discussed with her doctor include aging and hormonal imbalances, something that affects some women in their mid to late 30s.

Dr. Frank Lipman told his star patient that 70 percent of Americans have a chronic sleep deprivation problem. Lipman gave Paltrow some useful tips on how to ensure she gets enough proper sleep, in addition to her healthy diet and regular exercise.

Getting some natural sunlight everyday, relaxation techniques before bed, eliminating caffeine and an adequate fitness regime are just some of his recommendations to help her get at least eight hours of solid sleep per night.

In her previous newsletter , Paltrow shared some of her celebrity trainer's workout tips that she used to get herself in top form for her role in "Iron Man."

"Many of you may already know of my passion for the Tracy Anderson Method and my investment in it… This week, Tracy shares with us a little arm series that I did everyday preparing for Iron Man and that I take on the road… It's good. Especially for the batwing problem."

Anderson's high profile clients also include Courteney Cox, Kristin Davis and Donna Karan.
