(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Levi Johnston, the 19-year-old man from Alaska famous for being the father of Sarah Palin's grandson, shot his photo expose for Playgirl magazine this week, and fans will get a little less than promised when the issue hits newsstands in January.
Johnston's spokesman had promised "Everything's gonna hang out" for the photos, but now word comes that there will be a little left to the imagination.
Gawker reported that Playgirl spokesman Daniel Nardicio released a statement about the photos saying, "[Johnston] did not give 'full-frontal' as his manager Tank Jones reported he would. We're thrilled with the photos we got, and are confident people will love them. Although there may be glimpses, we did not get full on frontal nudity."
Johnston in an interview with CBS News last month said that "we're going to do it tastefully" and "we don't want no bad boy image. I don't want to be looked at as someone who is getting naked for fame."
During her appearance on the Oprah show Monday Palin noted that Johnston now goes by Rikki Hollywood and called his aspiring career and Playgirl shoot "porn." She added, "It's kind of heartbreaking to see the road he is on right now." Oprah also asked whether Johnston would be invited for Thanksgiving dinner, Palin answered that there is an open invitation. "He is a part of the family, and you want to bring him into the fold and under your wing."
